Mr. Kevin Thompson has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Trinidad and Tobago Solid Waste Management Company Limited (SWMCOL) with effect from November 1st.
Thompson was the Former Operations Director at ALTHEV Oilfield Services Limited Trinidad and Tobago for the past 13 years.
And according to SWMCOL, Thompson brings a wealth of experience in the areas of project management, directing operations, maintenance and logistic teams to accomplish their strategic goals, which are all vital for the success of SWMCOL.
He is reading for a Master of Science in Major Programme Management-University of Oxford, holds an Advanced Certificate Project Management- Rochester Institute of Technology, Bachelor of Laws- University of London, a Bachelor of Science Engineering- University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, and a Professional Certificate in Corporate Finance- Columbia University.
Thompson has expressed his desire in working with Team SWMCOL to ensure that the gaps between strategy and delivery are realized.
This desire, paired with his earlier experience in the fields of commercial and engineering, will position SWMCOL to accomplish its strategic objective of transforming “Waste into Gold.”
