According to several reports, Veteran Sports Journalist, Dave Lamy collapsed while grocery shopping at Tru Value Supermarket this evening.
Former Media Officer at the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association, Dave Andrew Lamy was given the Alexander B Chapman award at the 2018 TTOC awards, for his sterling contribution in Sports over the years.
Lamy also served as Sports Journalist at CCNtv6 and was the sports broadcaster and sporting voice of Radio 610 and of local horse racing for more that 50 years.
Reports states that Lamy was rushed to St. James Medical facility when he collapsed; where he was pronounced dead.
Dave Andrew Lamy was 80 years of age.
