It was a good start to the “Road Trip Vaccination Drive Thru” at the Frankie Boodram Wallerfield International Raceway, on Wednesday morning.
Reports are that approximately 200 people were vaccinated in the first hour of the site being opened.
The site opened for operation at 8 am and by 9 am, North Central Regional Health Authority officials said it was well subscribed as citizens in cars, maxi taxis and buses were all lined up along the raceway.
The vehicles were directed through various tents for registration, vaccination and observation after receiving the jabs.
