A 41-year-old man of Guthrie Street, St James, was ambushed and robbed near a cemetery in the area on Wednesday 26th June, 2024.
The victim told police that around 6:30pm, he was standing on the eastern side of the Mucurapo Cemetery, when he was approached by two men, one armed with a gun and the other armed with a knife.
The suspects announced a robbery and ordered the victim to lie on the ground before relieving him of $2,000 in cash and a black Samsung A20S cellphone.
The suspects then made good their escape and the victim notified the police.
