A soldier was reportedly shot dead in an incident in Diego Martin on Sunday night, that also resulted in three others being wounded.
The incident took place at around 9:30pm at La Puerta.
Reports state that gunmen opened fire on a group of men who were liming near a car wash in the area.
Four people were hit in the melee.
A member of the TT Defence Force, identified as Nicholai Greene, aka ‘Bull Eye’, died at the scene from gunshot wounds sustained.
The other victims were taken to hospital for treatment.
Investigations are currently underway.
