A man was found along the North Coast Road during the early hours of this morning following a shooting.
Residents of the area heard a series of loud explosions shortly after 3am and upon investigating they saw the victim lying on the ground bleeding from a gunshot wound to the right leg.
The police and emergency services were notified and the injured man was taken for medical treatment.
The victim, who is yet to be identified, is currently warded at the Port of Spain General Hospital.
