Veteran sprinter and Olympic Champion Shelly Ann Fraser Price of Jamaica placed third in a time of 10.77 seconds, a season best, for her in the women’s 100 meters at the World Athletics Championship in Budapest, Hungary today.
Another Jamaica Shericka Jackson placed second in 10.72 seconds.
The event was won by American Sha’Carri Richardson in a new championship record of 10.65 seconds.
Julien Alfred of St Lucia finished fifth in a time of 10.93 seconds.
