A 57-year-old police inspector has been arrested in connection with allegations of sexual assault of his daughters.
The officer, who is attached to the Multi-Operational Police Section (MOPS) was detained at about 12:30 a.m. at his home in the Central Division.
Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance and met with the suspect’s wife – who is herself a Woman Police Constable.
Officers were informed that allegations had been made that the suspect had sexually assaulted their daughters who are aged 17 and 11.
The suspect was detained.
