Second Day Of Gran Couva Protest Over Bad Roads

Gran Couva residents continued their protest action for a second straight day Tuesday.

This morning, the residents staged a fiery protest at Pepper Village, Gran Couva, against deplorable road conditions and dangerous landslides in the area.

According to multiple reports by local government councillors and the MP for Tabaquite, Anita Haynes-Alleyne, the worsening road condition is affecting daily transportation.

The residents have not yet received a response from the Ministry of Works and Transport.
