A protest for improved working conditions was carried out by employees of the San Fernando City Corporation Thursday.
The workers held placards which highlighted some of the challenges they face in properly doing their duties.
They demonstrated outside the Corporation’s transportation compound on Carib Street, San Fernando.
Chanting one of their traditional trade union songs the workers insisted they shall overcome some day.
The workers got the support of the Contractors and General Workers Trade Union.
