Safari Eco Park denies it was responsible for kangaroo’s poor condition

The Safari Eco Park is challenging claims made in a newspaper article with regards to the kangaroo named Jack.

The article quoted an Emperor Valley Zoo consultant as saying that Jack was fed grass, fruits and vegetables, and was in a poor condition when it arrived at the facility.

Safari Eco Park, which was named in the article, posted a brief statement on Facebook denying the claims.

It said, “Jack was fed a specialized diet, which included imported Mazuri Kangaroo feed.”

It also shared a video that it claims showed Jack upon his arrival at the Zoo, adding that he will be 9-years-old this year and was in excellent health.
