Rowley faints during panyard judging at The Oval

Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley had an incident at the Queen’s Park Oval last evening, during the large band preliminary judging for the CAL Invaders.
Reports stated that he collapsed while liming and had to be rushed out.

The Office of the Prime Minister, in a release this morning, said Dr Rowley’s schedule began before dawn yesterday and included a visit to Pt. Lisas.

They said he worked throughout the day attending to several matters of State and also visited several pan yards yesterday evening.

His Office added that: During the day he did not have any meals and by 1:30 a.m. began feeling faint and had to be assisted to his vehicle while awaiting the performance for the judges at The Oval.
The Prime Minister has since recovered and will chair the National Security Council Meeting this morning at 10 a.m.

The PM, via the release, thanked everyone who expressed concern and support.
