AG Armour returns from abroad; resumes duties today

Reginald Armour has returned from official government business and has resumed his portfolio responsibilities as Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs.

Armour returned from official government business abroad on January 31st.

In a statement, Armour thanked Minister Stuart Young for acting as Attorney General during his absence.

Armour will host a press conference today concerning the investigation ordered into the State’s failure to file a defence in a civil action claiming malicious prosecution. The claim was brought by the men freed of charges related to the 2006 kidnapping and murder of businesswoman Vindra Naipaul-Coolman.
