Ronaldo feels “betrayed” by Manchester United and is being “forced out”

Cristiano Ronaldo has said he feels “betrayed” by Manchester United, is being forced out of the club and does not respect manager Erik ten Hag.

Ronaldo made the bold comments during an interview which is set to air in a two-part special Wednesday and Thursday.

In extracts from the wide-ranging interview – published in the Sun, Ronaldo said among other things that there had been “no evolution” at the club since Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure in 2013 and that Sir Alex agreed with him that United were “not on the path they deserve to be”.

He also fired a shot at former manager Ralf Rangnick saying he had “never heard” of him before he came to United.
