Investigations are underway into the murder of a 26-year-old man at Picton Road in Laventille on Sunday night.
Around 9:30pm, officers responded to a report and found the body of a man with what appeared to be gunshot wounds lying along a track.
The body was identified as Josiah Pierre of Picton Road.
Police also found one projectile and two spent 9mm shell casings at the scene.
