Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley off to New York to participate at the 78th Session of the UN General Assembly, Imbert is Ag. PM

Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley is off to New York, today Sunday to participate in the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

This year’s theme is “Accelerating action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals towards peace, prosperity, progress and the sustainability for all.”

His Excellency, Dennis Francis of Trinidad and Tobago has been appointed the President of the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Also participating in the prime minister’s delegation and attending the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, are the Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Planning and Development, Pennelope Beckles, and the Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh will also attend the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert will act as Prime Minister until Dr Rowley’s return.
