One man was arrested and a pistol and quantity of ammunition seized by officers of the Inter-Agency Task Force during an anti-crime exercise conducted in Port of Spain Sunday night.
Officers conducted the exercise around 8:10 pm on Sunday during which they proceeded to Jackson Place, East Dry River, Port of Spain, where they stopped and searched a 35-year-old man.
The search resulted in officers finding one Glock pistol fitted with a magazine containing 16 rounds of nine-millimetre ammunition.
The man was arrested in connection with the find.
