Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley will be traveling to Barbados on vacation from August 17 to 22.
His rest period will follow Monday’s Local Government Elections.
Dr Rowley made the disclosure at a Post-Cabinet Media Briefing held at the Diplomatic Centre, St Ann’s on Thursday.
He said: “This is not my doing. I should let you know. This is my family’s doing. They insist that I accompany them to Barbados, and I’m very happy to do that.”
“I’ll be in Barbados and I hope that I see some people while I am there, my political colleagues and some cricket fans,” he added.
The PM was in Barbados for a mini-vacation back in May.
