Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar, SC, MP held a meeting with United States Ambassador Her Excellency Candace Bond and her team at the Parliament.
Those in attendance included MP Rodney Charles, Shadow for Foreign Affairs, Davendranath Tancoo, Shadow for Finance, and MP David Lee, Chief Whip and Shadow for Energy.
The Opposition Leader and Ambassador Bond discussed several matters of national importance including energy security, education, poverty alleviation, national security and renewable energy.
Both the Opposition Leader and the Ambassador reaffirmed a commitment to work together in the best interest of Trinidad and Tobago
