A 61-year old retiree was found murdered inside his La Brea home on Wednesday.
Raymond Antoine, of #3 Park Avenue, Pt. Dor, La Brea, was found by his caretaker on the living room floor with a wound to the left side of the chest and in a pool of blood just after midday.
The female caretaker reported that when she arrived, she discovered a back door opened on the upper floor. She called out to Mr. Antoine but got no response.
After searching his home she found him murdered and reported the matter to the police.
Officers of the South Western Division are investigating.
