Paramin Water Supply project commissioned

As the Water and Sewerage Authority, under the guidance of the Ministry of Public Utilities, continues to provide residents across Trinidad and Tobago with a first-time or improved level of service through the Community Water Improvement Programme(CWIP), the Paramin water supply project was commissioned on Saturday, June 17th, 2023.

This project will now serve and provide access to a reliable water supply to over 4000 citizens of Upper Paramin and Environs.It consists of the La Finette #1 and La Finette #2 booster stations, the Paramin Mia River intake and the Mia Storage reservoir facility.

Present at the commissioning were: Marvin Gonzales, Minister of Public Utilities; Colm Imbert, Minister of Finance and Member of Parliament, Diego Martin North/East; Pennelope Beckles, Minister of Planning and Development; Symon de Nobriga, Minister of Communications; other officials from the Ministry of Public Utilities and the Water and Sewerage Authority and residents of Paramin.
