Opposition not pleased with the PM’s absence from Parliament

The Opposition took issue with the absence of Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley, in the House of Representatives today.

During the proceedings in the parliament the Speaker of the House indicated Dr. Rowley had requested leave from today’s sitting.

However, this position did not satisfy the Member of Parliament for Couva South, Rudy Indarsingh.

It also triggered some cross talk between the Opposition and government benches.

There were five questions on the Order Paper for the Prime Minister.
