A man identified as Richard Mark aka “Mansion” was shot dead while seated in the backseat of a vehicle along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway during the early hours of this morning,
The incident took place in the vicinity of the Cipriani Labour College.
Police report that shortly after midnight Thursday, PC Sankar and PC Bartholomew were on static duty along the Eastbound Lane of the Churchill Roosevelt Highway, outside the Cipriani Labour College, when they were approached by a man who reported that the vehicle he was driving was just shot along the westbound lane.
Officers immediately went to the scene near the walkover and discovered Mansion crouched in the back seat of the car with multiple gunshot injuries. He died at the scene.
The car, a Nissan Wingroad, was also riddled with bullets mostly in the backseat passenger side where Mansion sat.
