Officers of the Homicide Region 2 are investigating the discovery of the bullet-riddled body of a man in Piarco yesterday morning.
The victim was identified as Curtis Patterson, 33.
Officers at the Piarco Police Station were notified that gunshots had been heard near the 3 Bs Restaurant along the Caroni North Bank Road around 1.45 am yesterday.
When officers responded they observed a black Hyundai Tucson in a drain with its hazard lights had been turned on.
Upon checking, they found Patterson’s body inside the drain.
Several spent shells were found inside the van.
