ODPM CEO Major General Rodney Smart has defended the state’s response to the Tropical Storm Warning.
The Ministry of Education has ordered schools closed apart from the Secondary schools which have CAPE exams scheduled for today.
Speaking on Power 102 Digital’s Power Breakfast Show, he said there is no need at the national level for stay at home orders today.
However he said employers, if they so desire, can make a decision based on their employees’ best interest.
