A man was shot and injured during a daylight attack in Arima.
According to several reports the incident took place on Saturday.
The man has been identified as Jack Layne, who was driving a white Kia Sorento SUV.
Further reports indicate that Layne was with his wife and child in the vehicle.
Police reports state that the gunmen were inside a darkly-tinted black Nissan Tiidofand pulled up in front of the SUV.
Several men exited and shot at the SUV.
There were three bullet holes in the front windscreen.
