A man was shot dead in the vicinity of St. Philip’s Government Primary School in John John this morning, (Friday 21st June 2024).
Residents of the area said they heard gunshots around 9am, and upon investigating, found the deceased lying on the ground in a pool of blood.
The police were notified and officers from the Besson Street Police Station, the Inter Agency Task Force, and the Homicide Bureau responded.
The victim has yet to be identified.
Investigations are underway.
