Man lied about being handicapped so caregivers would change his diapers

A man was taken into custody for the second time for presenting as a person with special needs and hiring caretakers to change his diapers.

State Police in Arizona stated, 31-year-old Rutledge Deas IV was arrested Thursday at his home after he asked someone for “alternative therapy.”Authorites said Deas texted the patient, requesting to pay them to change his diapers.

law enforcement announced Deas strived to have the victim recruit other babysitters to attend to him while posing as a person with special needs.

According to police reports, Deas was charged with one count of human trafficking and one count of attempted human trafficking.
