A beachgoer lost his life after he got into difficulty in Toco yesterday.
The beach is a popular destination for families during the long Easter weekend.
Police reports indicate that 43-year-old Ronald Ramkissoon of Orange Valley Road, Carapichaima, was taken to the Toco Health Facility by a lifeguard just before 3 pm, after he was pulled out of the water at the beach, however, he was pronounced dead at the facility.
Police are currently conducting enquiries into the incident.
