Kidnap victim Anisha Hosein has been released by her captors.
Reports state that the 27-year-old woman was released around 10 p.m. last night, near the Caroni Cremation Site.
She was then picked up by passers-by who took her to the St Joseph Police Station
The young woman was also expected to be taken to hospital for a medical treatment.
Hosein, the daughter of the owner of Sauce Doubles, was kidnapped on Saturday while she and her husband were about to open their branch of Sauce along the Eastern Main Road, El Dorado.
The gunmen fired once at her husband, grazing his cheek following which she was bundled into the Sentra.
There were conflicting reports of a ransom demand, however her family has since denied that a ransom was requested.
