Leadership challenger for the People’s National Movement, Karen Nunez Tesheria, has spoken out about her decision to take the party to court over the upcoming internal elections.
Speaking on the Afternoon Drive Programme on Power 102 Digital Monday, Mrs Nunez Tesheria said her legal team has been seeking to get information on matters relating to accountability and transparency but answers have not been forth coming.
She maintained that her decision to seek the court’s intervention was not aimed at destroying the PNM but rather ensuring that the party maintains its high standards of openness and transparency.
