July 31st this year is the new time line given by the Water and Sewage Authority for the extended water use Restrictions.
This is due to the continued low water levels at reservoirs, lack of rainfall and reduced water availability.
WASA is urging all stakeholders to heighten their conservation efforts and partner with the utility to navigate this ongoing challenging period.
The Authority says it will continue prudent management of the country’s water resources in keeping with its 2024 Dry Season Water Supply Management Plan, by maintaining the measures implemented during the Dry Season period, including ongoing adjustments to plant operations and schedules.
