The time has come to update labour laws which are deemed to be out dated.
It’s an appeal coming from, Assistant General Secretary, Joint Trade Union Movement, Trevor Johnson.
He was at the time speaking during the Movement for Social Justice Tuesday Talk which focused on workers issues.
Mr Johnson claimed when there is obsolete labour legislation this affects employee’s ability to engage in action which can place pressure on the relevant authorities to address matters affecting workers.
