Investigation launched into woman wearing TTPS-issued police uniform

The Commissioner of Police, Erla Harewood-Christopher has ordered an investigation into a video which has gone viral on social media, purporting to show a woman in what appears to be a TTPS-issued police uniform.

In the video, the unidentified woman is seen wearing a TTPS issued operational shirt and a pair of black tights not in keeping with the policy which guides the proper use of uniforms issued to police officers.

All officers are reminded that police issued uniforms must be cared for in accordance with established TTPS policies and guidelines.
