A half century from opener Inshan Kishan, helped India pull off a five wicket win in the first one day international against West Indies at Kensington Oval, Barbados today with 163 balls remaining.
Set 115 to win, India reached 118 for 5 from 22.5 overs.
Kishan made 52 runs from 46 balls, hitting seven fours and one six in the process.
Earlier , Kuldeep Yarav had four wickets for six runs from 3 overs and Ravindra Jadeja 3 for 37 from six overs to dismiss West Indies for 114 runs from 23 overs.
The second ODI will be played on Saturday from 9:30am.
