The Police Service Commission announces the extension of Commissioner of Police recruitment process deadline to January 31st next year.
In a letter dated July 28th this year, the PSC informed its stakeholders it anticipated the recruitment and selection process for a Commissioner of Police would be completed by the end of 2022.
The Commission said it has commenced the process of vetting of all candidates as is required under the applicable law and governing the process for the establishment of an Order-of-Merit List for the office of Commissioner of Police.
