Government Urges Public Servants To Turn Out For Work On Monday Amid Expected Impact Of Hurricane Beryl

All public servants are expected to turn up for work on Monday.

Trinidad and Tobago is preparing for the effects of Hurricane Beryl.

Minister of Rural Development and Local Government, Faris Al Rawi, explains while there are first responders who services will be required other employees in the public sector are also needed to ensure the nation’s affairs continue as far as possible.

He made the disclosure while speaking at a news briefing on Sunday.

It was revealed in respond to a question posed to him.

He said after consultations  Sunday , Trinidad and Tobago will be informed on whether there will be schools in the country and the Tobago House of Assembly will keep the population updated on the situation for the sister isle.
