Former Minister, Dr. Tim Gopeesingh, who contracted and has recovered from the Covid19 virus, believes there must be public stakeholder discussions and a multipartite policy behind the roll-out of vaccines in T&T.
He believes questions still exist regarding:
• the proper, safe transport and storage of the vaccine
• the swift, equitable and efficient delivery to citizens
• the public education campaign and allaying of fears about the vaccine’s safety, and
• the human resource implications for the workplace
He warns that the virus has no political, ethnic, geographic, or socio-economic boundaries.
