Former Opposition Senator Voices Concern Impact Of Crime On Investor Confidence

One former Opposition Senator is voicing concern about crime and its impact on investor confidence.

The comment came from Sean Sobers during a news briefing held Wednesday.

He claimed that because of the situation investors have been carrying their trade to other regional countries.

Mr Sobers said when investors take their operations to other nations in the Caribbean it means lost opportunities for nationals of Trinidad and Tobago.

Meanwhile, Opposition Member of Parliament for Chaguanas East, Dinesh Rambally, during his contribution, focused on key areas such as availability of social programmes in communities across the country, improving the detection rate and the need for empathy.
