Former Black Lives Matter Director admitted to using the $6M of the BLM money

Patrisse Cullors, the former Black Lives Matter executive director and co-founder, has come forward and admitted to using the $6million LA property she purchased with the Black Lives Matter funds for two personal incidents.

In an interview with the Associated Press on Monday, the 38-year-old revealed that the seven-bed house located in Studio City was used for her business and her own recreation — but only on two occasions.

After securing the property in cash in October 2020, Patrisse said she held a party to celebrate the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in January 2021.

Then, in March, she decided to throw her son’s birthday party at the house — a decision which she now says “probably wasn’t the best idea.”
