Forestry Division worker gunned down in Champs Fleurs

Homicide detectives are looking into the murder of a 39-year-old Forestry Division worker, who was gunned down in Champs Fleurs on Thursday afternoon.

Residents reported hearing gunshots and the sound of a car speeding off around 2 pm on Hutton Street and then later saw Michel Bousigard bleeding from gunshot wounds.

They took him to Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex where he was declared dead at 2.24 pm.

Police from the St Joseph CID visited the scene and found 13 spent 9 mm shells and a bullet fragment.
