Officers of the South Western Division Task Force have seized a firearm and ammunition during Operation Safe Street Friday.
During the exercise conducted between the hours of 4am and 8am, officers received intelligence information and proceeded to Los Iros Junction, Los Iros, where a search was conducted of an unfenced scrap yard, there officers found a GLOCK 19 and 17 rounds of 9 mm ammunition on top of some steel pipes.
WPC Vesprey took possession the find and took same to the Fyzabad Police Station.
