A father of three was shot and killed at his La Savannah Circular, Newlands Village, Guayaguayare home on Tuesday morning.
Around 1:40am, Carlie Hamilton was asleep in his bedroom, while his wife was in another bedroom with their three daughters when they sound of gunshots rang out.
His wife told police she was awoken by the noise and on checking, noticed the back door was opened.
She later discovered her husband lying motionless on his bed covered in blood.
Police were called in and an investigation was launched.
