Persons across the country got the opportunity to learn more about the role of the Equal Opportunity Commission during its Nationwide Outreach Caravan.
The EOC team engaged members of the public with fun trivia games, shared legal advice on discrimination and generally raised awareness on the free services offered by the EOC, and the rights of citizens that are protected by the Equal Opportunity Act.
EOC Chairman Ian Roach said, “this outreach caravan allows the commission to go into various communities across the country and connect with the public in a relatable and relevant way.
The EOC continues to expand its public education to ensure it is accessible to all who are desirous of justice for discriminatory acts and further, nurture conversations with all stakeholders to promote equality.”
