Her Excellency, Christine Kangaloo, has declared Saturday April 22, 2023 as the date of the public holiday in recognition of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The release stated:
In accordance with the provisions of Section 4 (1) of the Public Holidays and Festivals Act, Chapter 19:05, Her Excellency, Christine Carla Kangaloo, O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, on the advice of the Cabinet, has declared Saturday April 22, 2023 as the date of the public holiday in recognition of Eid-ul-Fitr.
