Brandon Bassington and his brother Samuel Anton were robbed while trying to puchase a cell phone.
The two brothers went to the poultry shop along Piccadilly Street, East Port-of-Spain to purchase the phone when an attempted robbery occurred.
Bassington was shot while inside his Grey Nissan Almera.
The car then crashed near Rose Hill.
Brandon Bassington later died.
