There will be a temporary traffic disruption along Naparima Mayaro Road, from Rajoo Trace to Ponder Rosa Road from this Saturday.
In a statement on Friday, the Ministry of Works and Transport said this has become necessary to facilitate road rehabilitation works.
This disruption will take place from July 29 and is expected to be completed on August 5.
The works are scheduled to take place between the hours of 8am and 4pm.
The Ministry noted that only single lane traffic will be permitted within the work zone for the duration of this project.
Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers.
They are also asked to comply with instructions from police officers on site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic.
