An autopsy on the body of Ashanti Riley found that she died from sharp force injuries.
An official TTPS released on November 30 indicated that 5th form student, ASHANTI RILEY, of Lloyd Street, Sunshine Avenue, San Juan, was last seen on around 4 pm on Sunday 29th November 2020, and was reported missing later on the same day
According to autopsy reports 18 year old Ashanti suffered from injuries to her right chest and lower abdomen.
Further autopsy reports also state that Ashanti suffered from blunt force trauma to the back of left chest.
Ashanti was stabbed and beaten to death.
Riley’s body was found in a river off Upper La Canoa Road, Santa Cruz, last Friday.
Relatives later identified Riley’s body via the items which were found next to her body.
