A 27-year-old bystander was shot dead in Point Fortin this morning,
The deceased is Shaikel St Louis, a sheet metal installation worker at Atlantic LNG.
Reports stated that around 2:30 am, there was an altercation at Level 1 Bar, Point Fortin, resulting in patrons exiting onto Wickham Street, and someone fired a gunshot.
St Louis, who was not involved in the altercation, got shot, collapsed and died on the road. His mother later identified his body.
Officers of the Homicide Bureau Region 3 are investigating.
