A shooting in Port-of-Spain on Friday night has left two men dead.
The deceased have been identified as Latrell Daniel of Pelican Extension Road in Morvant and Jamal Etienne, 32, of Upper St. Barbs Road, Laventille.
Reports state that at around 10:42 pm David and Etienne were seated in vehicle which was parked along the eastern side of Piccadilly Street in the vicinity of the Green Zone Sports Bar when they were approached by two masked men who began shooting in their direction.
The driver of the vehicle then drove off along Duke Street but while turning onto Henry Street, he crashed intoa parked car.
The men were taken to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital by police where they were both pronounced dead on arrival.
Investigations are underway.
